Who is that Girl I see staring straight back at me?

Who is that Girl I see staring straight back at me?

(Yes, that was a Mulan referance)

Because everybody was jumping on the Plenilune Makeup Bandwagon :D

So it was raining and stormy here...I needed to distract myself....
Then I got /the best/ encouragement from Katie at Gingham Girl
and having a bit of an idea in my head...

Well.... I decided give it a try....
(my inner actress is coming out...)

(>>I really wish my camera was charged)

(Practicing My Gauis eyebrow and the elegant eyebrow raise)

Ingredients:
A silver sparkly hair clip.

Physician's Formula (Organic wear)  Mascara on the top eyelashes)

Physicians Formula Shimmer strips  "Smokey" I used sort of a deep grey-silver first (wetting the wand in an attempt to draw a defining line. Something I think Katie mentioned on her blog.) And adding a dark purple back behind that.
Maybelline's "unstoppable" Eyeliner Color: Expresso(brown)
Pearl earrings I picked up at a store somewhere.

Burt's Bees Pomegranate Chapstick

Katie, this post is for you for the courage and encouragement you gave me. You are fabulous, You know that?

Movie Saturday

Well... I've got nothing especially fabulous or amazing. But I have been wanting to wear my lightweight, dark forest green, long-sleeve top.

And it happened that my friend and I were meeting to watch "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!
( <3 <3 that movie so much!)  So I decided to dress like a one of my favorite woodland elves, wearing greens and browns. I even had my mom braid a part of my hair similar to some of the braids we've seen already in some of the Lord of the Rings movies.

I dressed here in a Forestry sort of green color layed over my brown fancy tank top because it was cool in the morning. I had previously meant to wear my brown corduroys trousers, but it was too warm for that so some lighter comfy ones.

And then for makeup  I used a white and sparkly brush on (it was the very last of it...) , as well as the white (at the left in the picture) and then I added sparkles, because of the wood elves love of starlight.

The Pinkie Pie (Valentine's Day)

 Today's Outfit

is called

PINKIE PIE!

*cough* Nothing to see here.

I brushed some light pink on.

It was a busy day and desperately searching through jewelry for something that would work. Mom then loaned me her pearl necklace and it just seemed to pull it all together.

Out to Appointments

Picking up where I left off here yesterday. I was originally going to call this "Ready and Red" this title seemed to fit better given the day.

Well when my camera came back to life, it was late so I didn't get many pictures or very good ones. >.<  First, I layered a white cami under a red shirt with my blue jeans to give it a red, white and blue look.  added my silver belt and an old shell necklace I've had for a long time.

I had sandals on in the morning but due to the cold I added my faux fur edged winter slip ons. They are very comfy with my fuzzy red and green snowman socks. :D

Running behind myself all day

Today's outfit would have been called "Out to appointments" or something along the idea of being dressed up to go out into town. Consisting of a red shirt, (and a shell/pearl necklace I found) white cami, dark blue jeans and accented with my silver loop belt, however both my cameras have died.

Hopefully, I will have pictures later or tomorrow.  :)

Thanks to everyone for reading my blog.

Peach, Pink and Plum

Peach, Pink, Plum

This mornings outfit is more about comfort than style. As I had washed my hair this morning I went for my pink knit hat as it keeps my head warm while my hair air dries and helps ward of cold sensitive headaches that sometimes occur.

Then I rubbed some (Ack. It seems my makeup brush seems to have vanished. >.> ) Colorevolution "Sugar plum" onto my eyes.
except unfortunately it turned out darker than I thought it would and made my face look white. So then I added some Burt's Bees Chapstick "Pomegranate"

(as you can see it looks much pinker next to my other shade of eyeshadow)

and a dash of "Peach" blush.

Voila!
